The NCPGA Foundation is pleased to offer a number of grants and scholarships to fund educational and career opportunities for golfers in Northern California and Northwestern Nevada.

Scholarships for Post-Secondary Education

The Langley Scholarship Fund

The Jim Langley Scholarship Fund assists students residing within the bounds of the NCPGA Section with costs associated with post secondary schooling. Graduating high school seniors are provided with a means to achieve their dreams and promote the fundamental values that the game of golf has to offer. The $2,000 scholarship is awarded to one boy and one girl on an annual basis.

Air Force One JTNC Scholarship

The NCPGA Foundation has partnered with the HB Foundation / Air Force One (formerly known as PowerBilt) Junior Golf Scholarship Fund in order to provide scholarship opportunities to college-bound high school seniors that participate in the NCPGA/NCGA's Junior Tour of Northern California (JTNC).

Chevron Langley Veteran's Scholarship

The Chevron Langley Veteran’s Scholarship, sponsored by the Chevron Veteran’s Network, was established by the Northern California PGA Foundation to recognize and assist United States Veterans who plan to pursue post-secondary education. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time undergraduate study at colleges and universities. While Chevron is investing in those students that align with our key disciplines, these scholarships are not a guarantee of employement at Chevron.

Grants for PGA Professionals & Associates

NCPGA Foundation Grant Program

The NCPGA Foundation issues grants (up to $1,250) to programs that meet our mission statement and make a positive difference and impact for good in our communities. The grant should support direct program needs and not endowment funds. The application must be submitted by an NCPGA Class A Member in good standing.

Chris Thomas PGA Associate Scholarships

Northern California PGA Associates who have completed "Level 1" of the PGA Professional Golf Management Program may apply for the Foundation's NCPGA Associate Scholarship. This scholarship is funded through the Charity Golf Challenge, #GivingTuesday, and direct donations.
