Impacting Lives Through Golf Looks Like This...
The NCPGA Foundation's 2013 The Langley, A Tribute to Legends featured Special Olympics Northern California as its main beneficiary. Special athlete Lindsay Mibach delighted the audience with her passion for competition and independence, and her appreciation for the supporters of Special Olympics.
In Memory of Mr. Jim Langley, PGA
July 21, 1937 - July 20, 2013
Our dear friend Jim Langley passed away on July 20th, just shy of his 76th birthday. We are deeply saddened by his passing and the loss to his cherished family. The NCPGA Foundation and all of its members, sponsors, donors, and friends will never forget what a true gentleman he was and what a great friend he has been to many. Throughout his life and his own physical difficulties, Jim kept others in the forefront, giving them special attention not asking for anything in return, and this is what made him so special.
"It has made me realize what is truly important in life. We should challenge our comfort levels, step out of ourselves for a while and recognize that there are many who need our help and our guidance. Faith and family will get us through anything."

A Thou$and Reasons to
Play 100 Holes!
Seven NCPGA Members Raise almost $19,000!
The 2013 season for our 100 Holes Challenge fundraiser ended on October 31st. This program is a way that Members and amateur players can use the game of golf to raise money for their favorite cause. All the money that is raised is tax deductible through the NCPGA Foundation.
This year a prize was offered as an incentive to get players out there - giving their time & energy for the benefit of others. Hats off to the band of seven PGA members who played this year - you are all winners in our book!
Congratulations to the team of John Abendroth and Dede Moriarty for being the 2013 Top Fundraisers! Together, they raised $5,701.
If you love golf and have a favorite program that you would love to raise money for, then this program is for you! Anyone who loves golf can play, and it is not as hard as it sounds.
Make 2014 the year that you "Impact Lives Through Golf".
If you have any questions about participating in this Golf-for-Charity fundraising event please contact Suzy Schneider, Administrative Assistant at email@example.com, or call (707) 449-4742. Next year let's push towards $100,000!
