Grants

Thank you for inquiring about grant opportunities provided through the Northern California Section PGA Foundation.  The NCPGA Foundation is a non-profit organization, created in 2007 to provide NCPGA Section members with access to a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization that can be of value to their fundraising activities.

In an effort to best serve all requests, the Board of Directors resolved to building a reserve account to enhance its ability to give, on a long-term basis, to worthy programs and causes. The intent is to have a reserve account of $250,000 built up before entertaining any grant requests. By achieving this level in the reserve account, the Foundation will then have a healthy base for posterity, and adequate funds to distribute.

In the interim, PGA Members may utilize the Foundation's non-profit status and raise money through Foundation programs such as:

100 Holes Challenge – conducted March 1 through October 31 each year

  • PGA Participants and partners secure sponsors for their day of play for 100 Holes.
  • PGA Participants keep 50% of the funds raised for their program, and 50% goes to the Foundation’s programs.
  • Click Here to view 100 Holes Challenge website

Pro-Am or Facility Events PGA Members can run their fundraising event through the Foundation utilizing the Foundation’s non-profit tax status.
